This option concentrates on the various aspects of surviving the rigours of interacting with other road traffic on suburban and highway road systems. Whilst providing the techniques which enable a driver to enhance their ability to control a vehicle, a greater emphasis is placed on the mental attitude and behaviour of drivers which contribute to road incidents.

This option concentrates on the various aspects of surviving the rigours of dealing with sub standard and dirt road surfaces. Whilst providing the techniques which enable a driver to enhance their ability to control a vehicle, a greater emphasis is placed on the mental attitude and behaviour of drivers which contribute to road incidents, with special emphasis on the causes of vehicle roll overs and skids/slides.
